How to find us

Golwg Y Bae is located on an Aberaeron hillside called ‘Rhiwgoch’. Translated, this means ‘red hill’ due to the fact that some of the properties at this location benefit from amazing views of the sunset.

The main entrance walls are narrow, so please drive slowly and take care. Thank you.

Travelling from the North:
Approaching from Aberystwyth on the A487, passing the ABERAERON sign on your left hand side prepare to turn left on to the A482, just before you approach the AERON COAST Caravan Park & Petrol station on your right hand side. Then continue straight ahead passing a life size bronze statue of the famous Welsh Cob on your right hand side. Continue, passing the Village Hall on your left. Proceed straight ahead until you arrive at a mini roundabout. Take the second exit to drive up the very steep RHIWGOCH hill. (This is a narrow road and steep hill, with two sharp bends so keep close left as you make your way upwards). When you spot Rhiwgoch Farm (white building with yellow window cills) on your left hand side, you are a stone’s throw away! Immediately opposite this, (on your right) you will pass two bungalows and then an ‘open mature, shrub lined drive’. The next property along is your final destination. Golwg Y Bae, a detached lemon coloured house with white windows, doors & gates (will have been opened ready for you to drive straight in).
